Sedgwick technical conference in Spain

The first edition of the ‘Technical Conferences Latin America and Spain’ organized by Sedgwick was a resounding success, bringing together more than 140 colleagues in Madrid, Spain. On 15.05.2024, the event addressed key issues in loss adjustment in the energy, construction, and catastrophic risk sectors, with a particular focus on the specificities of Latin America.

The event featured prominent panels. First, they discusses the Renewable Energy in LATAM – Present and Future. This brings an opportunity to focus on priority issues in the region, increasing collaboration and awareness. Latin America has an unique oportunity to pay attention to improving the quality of employment.

The conferences emphasized on real cases of losses were presented, serving as a basis for in-depth debates on the different approaches to risk management. Ana Franco de Sarabia, General Director of Sedgwick Iberia, highlighted the importance of exchanging diverse viewpoints among insurers, brokers, and risk managers, fostering enriching and constructive dialogue.
